Description
This 200mm soft tread cast iron furniture castor with brake combines robust industrial performance with floor-friendly rolling and controlled stopping power. Designed for heavy furniture and fixtures, the rubber tyre bonded to a cast iron wheel delivers smoother, quieter movement compared with solid cast iron, while helping protect hard floors such as wood, tile, laminate and concrete.
The 200mm wheel diameter with a 50mm wide tyre offers stable, controlled movement under substantial loads. An integrated brake allows the castor to be securely locked in place when stationary, adding safety and stability to worktops, storage units and equipment.
Fitted via a heavy-duty top plate, this castor secures using a 114 × 102mm plate, multi-pattern 94/76 × 78/70mm hole centres, and 10mm fixing holes for a strong, reliable installation. With a 498kg dynamic load capacity per castor and a 231mm total height, it provides dependable support for demanding industrial and furniture applications.
