This 100mm heavy duty swivel gate castor is designed to support hinged gates, helping to prevent sagging while allowing smooth and controlled movement. The swivel head enables the castor to self-align as the gate opens and closes, making it ideal for gates that move over uneven ground or change direction during operation.
Fitted with a rubber tyre bonded to a cast iron core, this castor combines strength and shock absorption, reducing vibration while maintaining excellent load-bearing performance. The rubber tread also helps protect ground surfaces and provides quieter operation than all-metal wheels.
With a 70kg load capacity, this gate castor is suitable for heavier domestic and light industrial gates. The robust top plate fixing allows secure mounting to steel or timber gate frames, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding environments.
