This 160 mm heavy-duty swivel castor with directional lock and white nylon wheel is designed for industrial applications that require high load capacity, controlled manoeuvrability and the option to lock straight-line movement when needed. The directional lock allows the swivel action to be locked so the wheel rolls straight ahead, reducing steer effort on long runs or narrow aisles, yet can be unlocked when full swivel is required.
With a load capacity of 700 kg per castor, this castor is ideal for industrial trolleys, machine bases, material handling platforms and workshop carts operating under substantial load. The ball journal swivel bearing ensures smooth, low-resistance rotation, providing reliable performance and long service life—even under heavy use.
The nylon wheel offers excellent wear resistance, low rolling resistance and good chemical resistance, making it well suited to hard, smooth flooring and environments where durable, easy-rolling castors are needed. The 50 mm tread width and D75 hardness provide a stable and resilient tread profile, while the wide temperature range (–40 °C to +80 °C) ensures dependable performance across varied indoor conditions.
