Question Written by: Harvey Perkoff . August 9th 2019
self propelled...
front castors required..
will the RJP-200 be ok for this model?
from my approx measurements... I think diameter is 200 mm....hub width (between forks) 58 mm...tyre width 35 mm...unsure of bore?...
I hope you have one that will fit or adapt... as the price 'DAYS' require is almost a ransom...Thanks Mr. H Perkoff

Hi Harvey

apologies for the delayed reply. I think this was missed as i can see the question was asked some time ago.

We do not have a list of what wheels are fitted to every chair but the 3 main measurements that we need to check for the RJP-200 are as follows

1 diameter = 200mm
2 Hub Width = 53mm
3 bore = 8mm (hole that the fixing bolt goes into)

you say that you have 58mm between the forks if these can be pinched up slightly whenthen they may be a ok to fit

I have wheel chair.Front small tyre / wheel need replacing. Not sure which one to order, can you help.
References on chair as follows.
16 st/at. Ross & Bonnyman DD81TD. Store number GVA063.
Many thanks
Answer Written by: Ross Handling

In order to help identify which wheel you require, we need to know the following measurements from your existing wheel;

* Overall Wheel Diameter (including tyre).
* Hub bore Size (Size of the hole in the centre of the wheel).
* Hub Length (depth of the hole in the centre of the wheel).

Once you have identified these measurements, we can then help you choosing the right wheel.

Question Written by: Monks . December 22nd 2020
Will these wheels fit a Lomax Chair?
Answer Written by: Ross Handling

We do not manufacture wheelchairs im afraid. so you would require to obtain measurements from your existing wheel to see if the spec matches up to any of the versions that we supply.
3 key measurements that you require to obtain is - Wheel Diameter / Hub Bore Size / Hub Length. all 3 measurements are featured via every wheelchair wheel online.

What is the smallest front wheels your have
Answer Written by: Ross Handling

Thank you very much for the enquiry. the smallest we offer would be a 125mm wheel. it has a 12mm bore but comes with a reducing tube to bring it down to an 8mm our code is RJP-125. The next size up from that is a 150mm version. (our ref RJP-150)

Please do get in touch if there is anything else i can help with

Question Written by: D Malyn . April 5th 2019
My current wheelchair front wheels are a hard plastic. Is there any "give" in the rubber material of the castor described?
Answer Written by: Ross Handling
Our RJP-200 wheelchair wheels have a thermoplastic rubber tread. they do have a little shock absorption and are not a "hard plastic" but I wouldn't class then as a soft rubber. with such a small tread width and taking into consideration the chairs may be pushed on rough surfaces anything too soft would wear at an excessive rate. for a softer ride the only option is to change the bracket that can accommodate a much wider wheel.
