  2. Anti Vibration Feet - Nitrile Rubber Coating

Anti Vibration Feet - Nitrile Rubber Coating

    From £47.94 £39.95

Anti Vibration Feet with a nitrile rubber coating are designed to reduce vibration and noise for machinery and equipment that require stable operation. These feet work by absorbing vibrations through the flexible rubber material, which grips well on smooth floors and rolls over small cracks without jarring. The nitrile rubber construction provides excellent grip and reduces the transmission of vibrations compared to harder materials, making it suitable for environments where noise reduction is a priority. Ensure compatibility with your equipment's weight and floor type before ordering to maximise effectiveness.

Anti-Vibration Feet

Anti-vibration feet are essential components in reducing noise and vibration in machinery.

About Anti-Vibration Feet

Anti-vibration feet are designed to minimise the transmission of vibrations from machinery to surrounding environments. They typically consist of rubber or elastomer materials that absorb and dissipate energy, reducing noise and preventing damage to both the equipment and its surroundings. These feet function by providing a cushioning effect that isolates vibrations.

Commonly used with industrial machinery, HVAC systems, and office equipment, anti-vibration feet help protect floors and improve the longevity and performance of the equipment. They are also used in applications where noise reduction is critical, such as in hospitals and recording studios.

When selecting anti-vibration feet, it is important to consider the load capacity of the equipment and the type of surface it will be placed on to ensure optimal performance.

Key Features & Applications

  • Reduces noise and vibration transmission
  • Protects floors and equipment
  • Enhances machinery longevity
  • Commonly used in industrial settings
  • Suitable for HVAC systems
  • Effective in noise-sensitive environments

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right anti-vibration feet for my equipment?

Choosing the right anti-vibration feet involves considering the weight and size of your equipment, as well as the type of surface it will rest on. Ensure the feet you select can support the load and provide the necessary level of vibration isolation. It's important to match the material of the feet to the environmental conditions they will face, such as exposure to oils or chemicals.

Are anti-vibration feet easy to install?

Most anti-vibration feet are straightforward to install, often requiring no special tools or skills. They typically attach to the base of equipment via threaded studs or adhesive pads. It's crucial to ensure they are securely fitted to prevent any movement during operation, which could compromise their effectiveness.

Can anti-vibration feet be used outdoors?

Anti-vibration feet can be used outdoors, provided they are made from materials that can withstand environmental factors like moisture, temperature changes, and UV exposure. Selecting feet with the appropriate resistance to these conditions is essential for maintaining their performance and longevity in outdoor applications.
