Design and manufacturing company ISO Spaces has purchased 30 castors for use on bespoke living spaces, which are all built from recycled shipping containers.

From their factory in Truro, Cornwall, ISO Spaces create one-of-a-kind work and living spaces for clients from the domestic, retail, catering and events sector to name a few. But due to the space limits of their factory, the large container conversions can become difficult to manoeuvre through the production line process.

General Manager of ISO Spaces, Carlos Howard, explains, “We needed a simple way of moving containers from one stage of the production facility to the next. It needed to be a solution which would withstand regular use and not damage our product and this is something that Ross Handling were able to offer.”

Our solution was to fit ISO Spaces’ container conversions with high quality container castors, which would allow for greater manoeuvrability around the manufacturing plant.

Carlos Howard, continues: “The container castors act as a makeshift conveyor belt, from the start of production to the finished product. The quality and reliability of the castors, makes for a seamless production”.

Carlos concludes, “We have been working with Ross Handling for two years now and are very happy with the castors and with the service. The team are flexible, quick thinking and always ensure that we have the products we need in order to complete our projects on time”.
