‘All hands on deck’ for the European International Submarine Race

The Warwick Submarine competition offers six Engineering Masters finalists from the University of Warwick, the chance to develop a human operated sub which will be used to compete against university students from around the world. we will be supporting the team by providing the pneumatic castors used for transporting the sub.

The Warwick Submarine competition offers six Engineering Masters finalists from the University of Warwick, the chance to develop a human operated sub which will be used to compete against university students from around the world.

We were approached by ‘WarwickSub’ – this years’ mechanical and manufacturing team – who asked if we would support the team by providing them with some pneumatic castors…and we were so intrigued and excited by their project that we happily obliged!

Our castors will be helping the team roll into action as they transport their submarine into the sea for the European International Submarine Races, held in Gosport, South Hampshire.

We can’t wait to hear how the WarwickSub team gets on in Gosport we would like to wish them a huge good luck from all the Ross Handling team.
