Description
This 200 mm heavy-duty swivel fabricated castor is engineered for extreme load handling applications where strength, durability and smooth manoeuvrability are essential. The swivel head provides full 360-degree rotation, allowing precise positioning of heavy equipment while maintaining excellent stability under load.
Each castor offers an outstanding 1400 kg load capacity, making it suitable for very heavy industrial machinery, fabrication frames, production equipment and transport platforms. When fitted as a set of four, these castors can support a maximum combined load of 4200 kg, making them ideal for the most demanding industrial environments.
The castor is equipped with a 200 mm diameter polyurethane on cast iron wheel, combining exceptional structural strength with smoother rolling performance than steel wheels alone. The A92 Shore hardness polyurethane tread delivers excellent wear resistance, high load tolerance and reduced rolling resistance, while helping to minimise floor damage. The wheel performs reliably across a temperature range of –40 °C to +60 °C, making it suitable for cold stores, warehouses and heavy-duty manufacturing settings.
A robust fabricated steel top plate measuring 175 × 140 mm, with 140 × 105 mm hole centres and 15 mm fixing holes, ensures secure mounting to heavy equipment. The castor has a total height of 255 mm and a swivel radius of 166 mm, providing controlled movement even when operating close to maximum load capacity.
