This 100 mm heavy-duty fixed fabricated top plate castor is designed for applications where high load capacity, straight-line stability and long-term durability are essential. Featuring a reinforced fabricated steel housing, this castor is built to withstand demanding industrial environments and continuous heavy use.
With a load capacity of 450 kg per castor, it provides dependable support for heavy equipment and static or guided-load applications. The fixed castor design ensures consistent directional movement, making it ideal for installations where precise tracking and stability are required.
The castor is fitted with a 100 mm diameter polyurethane on cast iron wheel, combining a solid cast iron core for maximum strength with a high-performance polyurethane tread that delivers excellent wear resistance and reduced rolling resistance. The 50 mm wide tread, manufactured to a hard-wearing A92 Shore hardness, helps distribute load evenly and minimises floor damage. Designed to operate within a –40 °C to +60 °C temperature range, this castor performs reliably across a wide range of industrial conditions.
A heavy-duty top plate measuring 135 × 110 mm, with 105 × 80/75 mm hole centres and 10 mm fixing holes, ensures secure mounting to fabricated frames and steel structures. With a total castor height of 145 mm, this compact yet robust unit delivers excellent load support without unnecessarily increasing equipment height.
This 100 mm heavy-duty fixed fabricated castor is well suited for:
Fabricated steel frames and machinery bases
Heavy-duty industrial trolleys and platforms
Manufacturing and engineering environments
Static or guided-load applications requiring straight-line movement
Equipment requiring high load capacity in a compact footprint
Ross Handling supplies industrial-grade castors engineered for strength, reliability and long service life. This 100 mm fixed fabricated castor with polyurethane on cast iron wheel offers dependable performance where durability and load stability are critical.
