Description
This 100 mm heavy-duty swivel fabricated castor is designed for applications where high load capacity, durability and smooth manoeuvrability are essential within a compact footprint. Built around a robust fabricated steel housing, this castor is well suited to industrial environments that demand strength and long service life.
The castor offers a load capacity of up to 450 kg per unit, making it ideal for heavy trolleys, machinery bases and industrial handling equipment. A ball journal bearing is fitted within the swivel head, providing smooth, controlled rotation and reliable performance under high static and dynamic loads.
Fitted with a 100 mm diameter polyurethane on cast iron wheel, this castor combines the strength of a cast iron core with a high-performance polyurethane tread. The 50 mm wide tread and 92 Shore A hardness deliver excellent load distribution, reduced rolling resistance and improved floor protection compared to metal wheels, while still maintaining exceptional durability. The wheel operates reliably across a –40 °C to +60 °C temperature range, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial conditions.
The top plate fixing measures 135 × 110 mm and features 105 × 80/75 mm hole centres with 10 mm bolt holes, ensuring secure installation onto heavy-duty frames and equipment. This swivel castor has a total height of 145 mm and a 92 mm swivel radius, allowing precise manoeuvring even in confined spaces while maintaining excellent stability under load.
