This 125 mm heavy-duty swivel fabricated castor is engineered for demanding industrial applications where high load capacity, durability and smooth manoeuvrability are essential. Manufactured with a robust fabricated steel housing, this castor is designed to withstand continuous use in harsh working environments while maintaining reliable performance.
The castor offers an impressive 550 kg load capacity per unit, making it ideal for heavy machinery, industrial trolleys and mobile equipment. A ball journal bearing swivel head ensures smooth, controlled rotation, even under substantial loads, improving manoeuvrability and reducing operator effort.
Fitted with a 125 mm diameter polyurethane on cast iron wheel, this castor combines the exceptional strength of a cast iron core with a high-performance polyurethane tread. The 50 mm wide tread and 92 Shore A hardness provide excellent load distribution, reduced rolling resistance and improved floor protection compared to metal wheels, while still delivering outstanding wear resistance. The wheel is suitable for environments operating within a –40 °C to +60 °C temperature range.
The top plate fixing measures 135 × 110 mm and features 105 × 80/75 mm hole centres with 10 mm bolt holes, allowing for secure and stable mounting onto heavy-duty frames and equipment. This swivel castor has a total height of 170 mm and a 110 mm swivel radius, offering a balance of stability and precise manoeuvring, even in tighter operating spaces.
This 125 mm heavy-duty swivel fabricated castor is ideally suited for use on:
Heavy-duty industrial trolleys
Mobile machinery and equipment bases
Manufacturing and engineering environments
Warehouse and logistics handling systems
Applications requiring high load capacity with smooth swivel movement
Ross Handling’s heavy-duty fabricated castor range is built for strength, longevity and dependable performance. This 125 mm swivel castor with polyurethane on cast iron wheel delivers an excellent combination of high load capacity, smooth movement and long service life, making it a trusted solution for demanding industrial applications.
