Our Steel Tubing In Use On Protective Screens
It may not be too surprising that many of the finished products being manufactured by our customers these days are in some way or another being used to help during the current global situation. We love hearing about how are products are being put to good use, such as Black Country Signs using our steel tubing and castors to make protective screens.
It may not be too surprising that many of the finished products being manufactured by our customers these days are in some way or another being used to help during the current global situation. We are hearing more and more stories from our customers and it couldn’t make us more proud to know that we are, in our own small way, helping to make a difference during this difficult time.
One such example is a regular customer of ours, Black Country Signs. This company has stopped all regular production in order to focus on producing free-standing perspex screens designed to separate areas in NHS screening and vaccination centres. The NHS required these floor standing protective screens to be durable and portable, so a combination of our square black steel tubing, tube connectors and our FS Series braked castors made for the perfect combination. Our steel tubing is extremely durable and versatile with no need to weld the joints thanks to our range of strong tube inserts and connectors, and our FS Series castors make for the perfect, low-profile way to move the perspex screens around.
The NHS also needed these social distancing screens to be delivered at very short notice. As a result, BC Signs needed a supplier they could rely on to get their orders processed with minimal lead times. They have provided repeated good feedback to us regarding our super-fast processing times, since each order of tubing needed to be cut exactly to size before being shipped and they often needed to receive the orders less than 48 hours after the order was placed. Our tube connectors allowed BC signs to simply slot the tubing into place once received for a fast turnaround.
We are still handling orders for BC Signs on a regular basis. Needless to say, they are not short of NHS orders at the moment!
