This 200 mm heavy-duty swivel fabricated castor is engineered for the most demanding industrial applications where exceptional load capacity, durability and controlled manoeuvrability are essential. Manufactured with a robust fabricated steel housing, this castor is built to withstand continuous heavy use in harsh working environments.
Offering an impressive 1200 kg load capacity per castor, it is ideally suited to supporting extremely heavy machinery, large fabricated frames and high-capacity transport equipment. The ball journal bearing swivel head provides smooth, reliable rotation under load, ensuring precise handling while reducing stress on both the operator and the equipment.
The castor is fitted with a 200 mm diameter polyurethane on cast iron wheel, combining a solid cast iron core for maximum structural strength with a high-performance polyurethane tread for long service life and improved floor protection. The 50 mm wide tread with 92 Shore A hardness delivers excellent load distribution, reduced rolling resistance and dependable performance. Designed to operate across a –40 °C to +60 °C temperature range, this castor performs consistently in both indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
A 135 × 110 mm top plate, with 105 × 80/75 mm hole centres and 10 mm bolt holes, ensures secure and stable mounting to heavy-duty steel structures. With a total castor height of 245 mm and a 166 mm swivel radius, this castor offers an optimal balance between stability and manoeuvrability, even when handling very high loads.
This 200 mm heavy-duty swivel fabricated castor is ideal for:
Heavy industrial machinery and plant equipment
Large fabricated steel frames and mobile bases
Manufacturing, engineering and production environments
Heavy-duty warehouse and logistics systems
Applications requiring maximum load capacity with controlled swivel movement
Ross Handling’s fabricated heavy-duty castor range is designed to deliver outstanding strength, reliability and longevity. This 200 mm swivel castor with polyurethane on cast iron wheel provides a proven solution for applications where extreme load capacity, smooth rolling performance and robust construction are critical.
