This 200 mm heavy-duty swivel castor with leading brake is engineered for high-load industrial applications where controlled manoeuvrability, enhanced braking control and reliable performance under pressure are essential. The leading brake mechanism engages when the wheel moves forward, helping to moderate rolling speed and improve stability — especially useful on slight gradients or when moving heavy loads.
With a load capacity of 500 kg per castor, this model is ideally suited to heavy industrial trolleys, machinery bases, material handling frames and transport units that require both mobility and reliable braking performance. The ball journal swivel bearing provides smooth, controlled rotation under load, delivering dependable movement and long service life in demanding environments.
The rubber on aluminium wheel combines a strong aluminium core with a shock-absorbing rubber tread, offering excellent load support while helping reduce vibration and protect floor surfaces. The 40 mm tread width and 75 Shore A hardness deliver a balanced combination of grip, durability and quiet rolling. Designed for use within a temperature range of –20 °C to +85 °C, this castor performs consistently across a wide range of indoor industrial environments.
A large top plate fixing (140 × 110 mm) with 105 × 80/75 mm hole centres ensures secure mounting and effective load distribution, making this castor suitable for heavy-duty installations where both flexibility and braking control are required.
