This 125 mm heavy-duty swivel castor with leading brake combines high load capacity, controlled manoeuvrability and enhanced braking performance for demanding industrial applications. The leading brake mechanism engages when the wheel is rolling forward, helping to moderate movement and stabilise heavy loads during transport — ideal for handling on slight gradients or in busy production areas.
With a load capacity of 550 kg per castor, this model is well suited to industrial trolleys, machinery bases, material-handling platforms and production equipment that require robust mobility and reliable braking under load. The ball journal swivel bearing ensures smooth, dependable rotation, providing long service life in tough working environments.
The polyurethane on cast iron wheel features a solid cast iron core with a durable polyurethane tread, offering excellent load support, high abrasion resistance and smooth rolling. The 50 mm tread width and 92 Shore A hardness deliver a tough, resilient running surface that balances floor protection and load distribution. Designed for use across a temperature range of –40 °C to +60 °C, this castor performs reliably in a wide range of indoor industrial settings.
A large top plate fixing (140 × 110 mm) with 105 × 80/75 mm hole centres ensures secure mounting and effective load distribution, making this castor ideal for heavy-duty setups requiring controlled movement with braking support.
