Description
This 80mm medium duty jacking castor is designed to combine smooth manoeuvrability with secure load stabilisation for industrial and commercial equipment. Once positioned, the integrated jacking mechanism allows the unit to be raised by 76mm, lifting the wheel clear of the floor so the load is supported firmly and securely by the jack foot.
Fitted with a swivel polyurethane wheel bonded to a nylon core, this castor offers an excellent balance of strength, floor protection and reduced rolling noise. The polyurethane tread provides improved grip and shock absorption compared to standard nylon wheels, while still delivering smooth rolling performance on hard industrial floors. The roller bearing construction ensures consistent rolling under load, and the swivel head allows accurate positioning.
With a 150kg load capacity per castor (300kg when used as a pair), this jacking castor is ideal for applications where equipment needs to be moved into position and then stabilised without movement.
