Description
This 150 mm Apex heavy-duty fixed castor is designed for demanding industrial applications where straight-line travel, stability and load control are essential. The fixed (rigid) configuration prevents swivel rotation, making it ideal for equipment and trolleys that need to move in a controlled, predictable direction without lateral movement.
With a load capacity of 454 kg per castor, this unit provides excellent strength for medium to heavy-duty use. It is equipped with a ball journal bearing, ensuring smooth, consistent rolling performance under load while maintaining durability during continuous operation.
The castor features a 150 mm diameter ergonomic polyurethane wheel, finished in yellow, which is specifically designed to reduce rolling resistance and vibration compared with standard polyurethane wheels. The 50 mm wide tread combined with a Shore A92 hardness offers an excellent balance between durability, load support and floor protection. The wheel is suitable for use in environments with temperatures ranging from –20 °C to +60 °C, making it ideal for most warehouse and industrial settings.
A heavy-duty top plate mounting measuring 140 × 110 mm provides a secure fixing point and even load distribution. The plate includes 105 × 80/75 mm hole centres with 10 mm bolt holes, allowing for straightforward installation onto a wide range of frames and bases. The overall castor height is 200 mm, ensuring compatibility with larger equipment and fabricated trolleys.
