This 200 mm swivel braked heavy-duty fabricated castor is designed for extreme load applications where maximum strength, controlled movement and reliable braking are essential. The swivel head allows smooth 360-degree rotation, while the integrated brake locks both the wheel and swivel, providing secure positioning when stationary.
Each castor is rated for an impressive 1200 kg load capacity, making it suitable for very heavy industrial equipment, machinery bases, fabrication frames and transport systems. When used as a set of four, these castors can support a maximum combined load of 3600 kg, delivering dependable performance in demanding industrial environments.
The castor is fitted with a 200 mm diameter polyurethane on cast iron wheel, combining exceptional load strength with smoother rolling characteristics than steel wheels. The A92 Shore hardness polyurethane tread offers excellent wear resistance, reduced rolling resistance and improved floor protection, while still maintaining outstanding durability. This wheel operates reliably within a temperature range of –40 °C to +60 °C, making it suitable for cold stores, warehouses and general industrial use.
A heavy-duty fabricated steel top plate measuring 135 × 110 mm, with 105 × 80/75 mm hole centres and 10 mm fixing holes, ensures secure mounting to heavy structures. The castor has a total height of 245 mm and a swivel radius of 186 mm, allowing smooth steering under very high loads while maintaining excellent stability.
This 200 mm swivel braked heavy-duty castor is ideal for:
Heavy machinery and industrial equipment
Fabricated frames and mobile platforms
Manufacturing, logistics and materials handling systems
Applications requiring very high load capacity with positive braking control
Ross Handling supplies industrial castors engineered for durability, safety and long service life. This 200 mm swivel braked fabricated castor with polyurethane on cast iron wheel is a reliable solution where extreme loads, controlled mobility and secure braking are critical.
