Description
This 160mm swivel braked electro-conductive castor combines controlled manoeuvrability, secure braking and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for demanding environments. The electrically conductive rubber tread safely dissipates static electricity, helping protect sensitive electronics and components in applications such as electronics manufacturing, cleanrooms, laboratories and ESD-controlled industrial areas.
The swivel design allows smooth, responsive movement in all directions, while the integrated brake locks both the wheel and swivel head to prevent unwanted movement once the equipment is positioned. Fitted with a polyurethane tyre bonded to a cast iron core, this castor offers excellent load support, floor protection and quieter operation. The ball journal bearing ensures reliable, smooth rolling performance under load.
With a 350kg load capacity per castor (1050kg total for a set of four), this model is ideal for medium to heavy-duty trolleys, mobile workstations, equipment carts and industrial platforms that require both load carrying ability and ESD control. The 95 Shore A tread hardness balances wear resistance with comfortable rolling performance.
