Description
This 80mm swivel braked electro-conductive castor is designed for applications that require electrostatic discharge (ESD) control, smooth manoeuvrability and secure braking. The electrically conductive rubber tread safely dissipates static electricity, helping protect sensitive equipment in electronics manufacturing, labs, cleanrooms and ESD-controlled environments.
The swivel design allows easy directional movement, and the integrated brake locks both wheel and swivel head to prevent unwanted movement once positioned. Fitted with a polyurethane tyre bonded to a cast iron core, this castor provides excellent load support, floor protection and quieter operation. The ball journal bearing ensures smooth rolling performance under load.
With a 100kg load capacity per castor (300kg total for a set of four), this model is suitable for light-duty trolleys, mobile workstations and equipment carts where both secure positioning and ESD control are essential. The 95 Shore A hardness of the polyurethane tread offers a balance of wear resistance with smooth rolling action.
