Description
This 200 mm Apex heavy-duty fixed castor is engineered for applications that demand maximum stability, straight-line tracking and high load capacity. The fixed (rigid) design prevents swivel movement, making it ideal for equipment that needs to travel in a controlled, predictable direction without deviation.
Designed to handle substantial loads, this castor offers a 544 kg load capacity per unit, providing excellent strength for heavy industrial use. A ball journal bearing ensures smooth rolling performance under load, reducing effort while maintaining long-term durability in demanding environments.
The castor is fitted with a 200 mm diameter ergonomic polyurethane wheel, finished in yellow, which is specifically developed to reduce rolling resistance and operator fatigue when compared to standard polyurethane wheels. The 50 mm wide tread combined with a Shore A92 hardness delivers a strong balance of floor protection, durability and load support. The wheel operates reliably in temperatures ranging from –20 °C to +60 °C, making it suitable for most warehouse and industrial conditions.
A robust top plate mounting measuring 140 × 110 mm ensures secure fixing and even load distribution. The plate features 105 × 80/75 mm hole centres with 10 mm bolt holes, allowing straightforward installation onto fabricated frames and heavy-duty equipment. With a total castor height of 240 mm, this unit is well suited to larger machinery, platforms and transport bases.
